AGL Resources’ Golden Triangle Storage accepting non-binding requests for 4 million Dth of firm storage capacity
Houston – November 1, 2010
AGL Resources (NYSE: AGL) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Golden Triangle Storage, Inc. (GTS) will be accepting non-binding requests in November for up to 4.0 million dekatherms (Dth) of firm storage capacity at its facility near Beaumont, Texas.
Non-binding requests for firm storage capacity will be accepted from Monday, November 1 through 5:00 p.m. CST on November 10. The capacity will be available beginning April 1, 2011.
GTS Cavern 1 is designed as a 6 million Dth working gas capacity cavern and is supported with six large-capacity, bi-directional interconnections. Interconnections at GTS include Florida Gas Transmission (Z1), Texas Eastern Transmission Company (WLa), Kinder Morgan Texas Pipeline, Houston Pipe Line Company, Centana Intrastate Pipeline and Golden Pass Pipeline.
A second cavern is under construction at GTS, and upon completion in 2012 will offer an additional 6 million Dth working gas capacity to the facility.
