Community Enrichment

“Community enrichment” is a broad category that allows us to focus our skills, our volunteers and our donations where they are needed throughout the communities we serve. As dedicated volunteers, our employees invest themselves in many of these projects, whether it’s raising money for non-profits or participating in hands-on programs for low-income families and the elderly. We look forward to finding ways that we can make a difference in the quality of life for our neighbors.

Supporting Sports for Youth
Pivotal Energy Development supports community activities such as youth softball that help develop well-rounded girls and boys who will be the leaders of tomorrow. In addition to its health benefits, softball teaches teamwork, goal-setting and fair play. Players also develop self-confidence and study-skills.

In spring 2010, Dana Grams, president of Pivotal, volunteered as a coach (back row, left) for the Riptide team in Houston’s West University Softball Association. This team of girls 10 and under finished fourth out of a huge field of 24 teams at the Third Annual Sugar Land All-Star Classic in May 2010.  The girls battled hard and won five games before losing to the eventual tournament winner.
