Director, Commercial Engineering

Gary Jones joined AGL Resources in 2002 and currently serves as director of commercial engineering. He has more than 25 years experience in the energy and utilities field including supply, gas control, oil and gas, gas transmission and gathering, processing, storage, and business development.
 
Prior to joining AGL Resources, Mr. Jones served as manager of analysis for mistream services at Aquila Midstream Services. There, he evaluated storage and midstream gas business opportunities. Mr. Jones began his career in 1981 as a reservoir engineer for Nicor Exploration Company and has since served in various roles for Reliance Pipeline Company and Nicor Gas. 
 
Mr. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in geological engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla.
