Vice President, Commercial Operations

Ed Gottlob joined AGL Resources in 2006 and was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Operations for Pivotal Energy Development, a wholly owned division of AGL Resources in 2008. He is responsible for Pivotal’s commercial and optimization efforts of Jefferson Island Storage and Hub; and Golden Triangle Storage.  

Mr. Gottlob oversees the optimization and contracting of Pivotal’s storage facilities; the development of salt dome storage projects; and the development of commercial strategies and business opportunities for Pivotal.

Before joining AGL Resources, Mr. Gottlob served as Vice President of Commercial Operations for American Electric Power’s natural gas assets which included Jefferson Island Storage and Hub; Louisiana Intrastate Gas; and Houston Pipe Line Company. He also held various positions at Enron, including director of natural gas optimization for Houston Pipe Line Company.

Mr. Gottlob earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Houston.
