Brian K. Jones

Director, Regional Operations, Mid-Stream Services


As Director, Regional Operations, Brian Jones brings more than 31 years of experience in the natural gas compression, pipeline and underground storage business to the Mid-Stream Services division of AGL Resources (AGL). Mid-Stream Services operates and maintains natural gas salt dome storage facilities for Pivotal Energy Development, a subsidiary of AGL.

Joining AGL in July 2007, Mr. Jones is responsible for providing management oversight of the assets operated by Mid-Stream Services, to ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of Jefferson Island Storage & Hub, LLC (JISH), located near Erath, La., and Golden Triangle Storage (GTS), located near Beaumont, Texas.

In addition to his extensive experience with natural gas facilities operations, maintenance and construction, Mr. Jones is very knowledgeable about the federal and state regulations that are in place to ensure the safe operation of natural gas storage facilities like JISH and GTS.

AGL Resources encourages Mr. Jones and the supervisors and employees at JISH and GTS to be actively involved in civic activities in the parishes and counties in which the facilities are located. Examples of recent civic activities in which the facilities participate include:
